YogaRX is an integrative approach to meeting your yoga goals. Whether you have a yoga-related injury or a difficult pose that you feel “stuck” in YogaRX can help. Dr. Sarah Middleton PT, DPT, RYT will consult with you regarding your yoga-related goals to create a customized plan to help you reach these goals. During your appointment your strength, joint range of motion, and body alignment will be evaluated in addition to an assessment of yoga postures. Based on these findings you will be provided an individual plan, including hands on adjustments, supportive exercise program, and advice regarding posture modification. As a physical therapist, Sarah is highly trained in anatomy and exercise physiology. YogaRX is a great way to deepen your practice, address yoga related injuries, and develop a practice tailored to your individual needs.

I am both a yogi and a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I first fell in love with yoga my first year of college. I was going through some big changes and felt that I needed a physical outlet. I joined a local gym and started taking yoga classes through the gym. I quickly became addicted and wanted to learn more. I began practicing Ashtanga yoga regularly and as cliche as it sounds, my life changed. I decided to alter my educational path to reflect my passion for yoga. I began studying anatomy, physiology, and other health based courses. I eventually earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida. I have been practicing as a licensed physical therapist for four years. My knowledge of human anatomy and physiology combined with my experience and passion for yoga, allows me to provide a unique service helping others meet yoga-related goals. My mission is to improve the human experience through helping and inspiring others to live an active lifestyle.
